        Arts Center in our community.

 A rock band with a message, comprised of 11 people with developmental 
        disabilities, including autism, Downs syndrome and blindness. As 
        seen on Good Morning America.

        in ConcertTuesday, July 12th: 8:00 pm
 An evening of Christian Blues Rock by soulful musician Danny Brooks. Listening 
        to Danny Brooks is like driving out of Memphis, TN on a sunny Saturday 
        morning.

 Conference of the BirdsFamily Friendly Event
 Legendary stage director Peter Brooks provoking & exciting work 
        is re-imagined as this years ALSTF Marquee Event. A nation of birds 
        is in crisis as they chart a path to find their king. Through masks, dance, 
        & song, the stage becomes an astonishing aviary as this beautiful 
        adaptation of the 12th Century poem comes to life inside the 100 year 
        old church at St. Williams on Long Point. This is sure to be a magical

 Tuesdays at the AC: Folkstrings 
        in ConcertTuesday, July 19th: 8:00 pm
 Their music is of the late 60s and early 70s, and includes 
        Peter, Paul and Mary, Tom Paxton, John Denver, The Kingston Trio and Bob 
        Dylan. Folkstrings performs all over Central New York. Folkstrings plays 
        a little gospel, a touch of blues, a hint of bluegrass, and a whole lot 
        of folk.
 *Presented through the Tom Fagan Memorial Fund.

 Movie Madness Cabaret
 An evening of famous movie songs performed by our talented company from 
        the Adirondack Lakes Summer Theatre Festival. Enjoy classics from films

        Dirty Dancing and funky a capella arrangements from Jaws, Star Wars and

 The cult classic film comes to life with live performers and full-on audience

 Dar Williams in Concert at the Indian Lake Theatre

 A favorite among the adult-alternative set, Dar Williams has a unique 
        voice that can dance from lyrical and ethereal to playful and gritty. 
        Her lyrics are funny, sharp, lively and fresh, yet they include thoughtful 
        insight into life, the environment, gender and other complex issues. Williams 
        is a literate singer-songwriter with a genuine gift as a storyteller. 
        She weaves word-poems with a catchy beat and a catchy tune. She has been 
        described as a synthesis of the Indigo Girls, Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez.

 Great Arts Benefit at Camp Mange Takk in Long Lake
 August 13th: 4:00 pm  7:30 pm
 The 2011 Great Arts Benefit (yes, we know we changed the name) hosted 
        at the Long Lake Ball Field will feature dinner from the world-famous 
        Dinosaur BBQ, a guided tour of Camp Mange Takk in Long Lake, and a silent 
        auction filled with Adirondack treasurers.
 This years exclusive 
        tour will feature the gorgeous New Great Camp, Camp Mange 
        Takk (Norwegian for Many Thanks), owned by Ed and Rebecca 
        Russell. Architect James Copeland of Hudson Design had envisioned a tree 
        house with windows that followed the propertys curve into Keller 
        Bay. The renovation was completed by Bill Blumhagen of Adirondack Concepts. 
        The White Pine that holds the structure is a Great Room centerpiece unlike

 Set in the South during the early days of the Civil Rights Movement, Violet 
        follows the growth and enlightenment of a scarred young woman as she travels 
        across the country in search of a TV evangelist to heal her. An Off-Broadway 
        hit, dont miss this powerful story and its energetic, toe-tapping 
        Gospel, Rock, Country, and R&B score.
